Presenting Complaint -------------------- I am 26 years old, I have lived with amennorea, severe bloating (after eating sugary, breaded or salted products) and sleeplessness. I was diagnosed that the age of 20 with insulin resistance and a dead pituitary gland; no response. I produce little to no estrogen, which is the reason for my amennorea (no menstrual period). I currently take care of myself the best I can, vitamins, prayer, etc. I am just looking for some peace in my life that maybe I can appreciate and be happy.

Presenting Complaint -------------------- I have a congenital epidermoid cyst in the pontine cistern, in the center of my brain. Neurosurgeons say the only treatment is surgery, but changes of survival are around 50% or less. My symptoms are extremely strong headaches, double vision, tickling in my hands and feets, vertigo, a slight nasal bleeding, extreme tiredness, no matter how much I rest, mood swings that have apparently no reason, nausea and an extreme tactile and olfactive sensitivity. I have being diagnosed only five months ago, but I had the symptoms for the past ten years. Doctors say it reached the critic mass, and if I let it be, it will further grow and will permanently damage my brain, leading to a range of possible ways of dying, some quicker, some longer and more painful. Although I have an extremely strong will and I am very courageous, right now I don't have enough courage to submit myself to such an invasive operation, that might also make me lose my memory or affect my intelligence. I don't think I could accept living in these terms. I am not sure Reiki can attempt treating congenital problems, but I have been many times cured by Asian methods, especially acupuncture, and they succeded when other "traditional" Western treatments could not.
